Check this out: when she was playing a teenager on Clueless back in 1995 but considering that she was born in 1966 this means that she was 30 playing 18-20 year old. Now of course this is sort of a norm in Hollywood, but DAMN!!!

Over the last few days, Susan Boyle was in the news and on the internet taking people by surprise. But what I would like to know is what happened to the guy who did the same thing well over a year ago on the same show Britain’s Got Talent?
Before I go into that, I think this guy right here got me to thinking that I need to go to the Opera as soon as I can because I really felt the tears. Its not a surprise that Opera and music from Wolfgang Mozart and Ludwig van Beethoven stimulates the brain more than… well Beyonce, Lil Wayne, and Kelly Clarkson.
Makes you think (well if your listening to just popular music and such, maybe you can’t think at all lol) about what most of us listens to and just how good it really is. Since art and music is generally a reflection of society, what does this say about society? LOL
Well, it looks like he is currently on tour with Elizabeth Marvelly (who is that???) and does have an album out (not recent). I may just get this album and review it from a standpoint of a guy who has no clue as to what opera should sound like lol
Paul Potts was born in Bristol on the 13th of October 1970, one of four children to a bus driver father and a mother who worked in a local supermarket. An ordinary schoolboy who later claimed he had been bullied as a child, his jobs on leaving school were also at a supermarket (stacking shelves), and at the time he entered Britain’s Got Talent he was working for the Bridgend branch of the Carphone Warehouse, a mobile phone retailer. In 1999 he had his first taste of television when he appeared on the Michael Barrymore show My Kind of Music and won enough money to enable him to travel to Italy and take singing lessons at a summer school. He sang with the Bath Opera, a local amateur company, and performed the roles of Don Basilio in The Marriage of Figaro, Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni, and the Herald in Turandot. He also toured Italy and sang with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, all of which caused some controversy on the Britain’s Got Talent show, which was supposed to be for undiscovered talent, but Potts‘ response to this was that he had never been paid for any of the performances — he had personally paid for all his training and even the Italian tour was part of the course.
Even that is inspiring. I am not for keep trying without really analysing how you can actually succeed, but this guy really believed in himself and his dream and he did it.

Everybody is showing her on the internet and on TV. She sounds great but here is the real question: Would people really come to see her sing if she became an artist? would you buy her album? Would you go to a concert with her as one of the people featured? The only person featured?
I think people will still go for looks even though talent can have all shapes and sizes but who doesn’t love a underdog? So there you go, an internet sensation.

I tired this before, but I figure I will give it another go. for the whole month of April, I will see what Solange is wearing nd what she is doing. I’m telling you, i think her fashionista level is starting to get up there and because of it all eyes will soon be on Solo Star. And yes, while sometime the 70′ futuristing eye shadow isn’t that fantastic, she somehow pulls it off.

So this issue is going to be green h’uh? If it ends up being true, maybe I will get one. Haven’t gotten a magazine in months, so I guess this will be the first.
As a side note, you know what I was wondering? How someone who we can see completely naked, having sex with someone else, can still be in the lime light? Remember it was not too long ago that if something like this happened it was the end of your career.
I was also thinking about how the line is blurring bewteen who is A list and who is B list and so forth. I think this is mainly due to the internet (social media) and those reality shows that are so popular (they annoy me quite frankly for the most part)
Wow, this movie is looking pretty good…and yes, I still wish Beyonce was the one Obsessed, but hey, it might work out for the best anyway. And the website they made for the movie is pretty clean too.
Oh and that “Get Obsessed with Ali” probably is pushing it on the social interactive level, but its still cool I guess lol

First read if on Crunk and Disorderly (of which seems to want to breath fire on everywhere Beyonce walks, so they may not be a unbiased source of information lol) and CD linked back to Global Grind (never really visit there much so I don’t know about them but I think I will start watching them).
I don’t know if this is true or not, but I can say one thing, I love me some Kelly!!! Goodness, I would ask her out in a second. 6′ 2″ and no drama!
But the point of all of this writing is this: Why do people hate on Beyonce so much? Does anybody have a idea? Is she really mean behind the scenes? Is that why people try their best to bring out stories that will probably only hurt those involved more than help? I just find nothing grown or sexy about any of this info, but hey, its stuff like this that made me make a blog like mine. I think we need something a little more high brow while still getting the scoop on what’s what.
