(Oh and I just finished saying that I wanted the Camaro over this lol)
(I think I will be watching this movie… on my iPod)
As cool as this movie looks like to me, I think I will wait for it to come to iTunes and then I will gladly pay the 3.99 rental fee and watch it either on my computer or on my iPod Touch (of which I will be reviewing… its pretty awesome by the way… the iPhone, not so much). Of course theyre will be a grown and sexy review of the movie, but by the time you guys read I am sure you would have already formed your opinions, so it will be more of a discussion on why this movie rocks or sucks socks.
(oh no they didn’t !!!!)
This may actually work for Microsoft. The economy, fears of the new great depression (or at least a great recession) has put some of Macintosh’s offerings out of reach for many people.
So getting the MAc 17″ for 2Grand may be too much at this time… so why not get a HP running Vista? lol Hey, if a red head is not cool enough for a Mac, neither am I. Despite this commercial, I still plan on getting my 2 Mac computers; one will be a laptop (but not the 2,000 one lol) and the other will be the use desktop Mac from PerScholas). For the used desktop I still have to by the OS (PerScholas can sell the used computer but not with the OS). I want the Mac desktop for my more private info… and I don’t have to worry about hackers continuoisly trying to engage my system. No don’t get me wrong, Macs are just as vonerable to outside viruses as PC but most of thos individuals who make the programs to take over your computer tend to go for PC because most people have them.
So in this economy (that seems to have hit bottom… stock matket went from 6500 to 7500 and is staying there, and housing sales are on the rise) will you get a PC over a Mac like she did? She got a 17″ HP for what looked like 700 dollars with lots of Ram and CPU power for less than a G note.
But before you go, read this quote from Fortune CNN blog:
- “Lauren” is an actress, not the ordinary American shopper the ad claims
- The Apple Store scene was faked; before-and-after photos suggest that she never actually went into the store to try the computers
- The $699 HP Pavillion dv7 she chose over a $999 MacBook is a mess. “It is the epitome of what people dislike about PCs,” writes Computerworld’s Seth Weintraub. “It runs Vista Home on a slow AMD mobile processor … its screen is abysmal … its networking is five years old … it is loaded with crapware and trial antivirus software that will have to be purchased or wiped off the machine.” (link)

…or maybe you should just go for a Linux laptop using Ubuntu?
(will the revolution be televised this time?)
I don’t care if you are a Democrat or a Republican, why do these guys continue to just spend, spend and spend? They guy in the video isn’t from here, but it certainly is ringing true and is the reason why the video is SUPER POPULAR right now. Last week the treasury just decided to print court 1 Trillion dollars more. Just print. Think about gold or diamonds or that high scale restaurant that has a 3 -4 month waiting list (unless you are a super star of course)… you got that in your head right now? Ok, now thing of these items being multiplied a billion times.
So now you have a billion more diamonds, a billion more high scale restaurants to go to other than the one you originally wanted and a billion more gold nuggets. Would you still PAY 100 dollars to get in a restaurant that you could just go down the block to? Would that diamond be as special if every person in the US could have 3 of them and their would still be some left over?
Now that was for a billion more diamonds and gold nuggets… now multiply that 10 times more to 1 Trillion.
You see the problem? You could literally line the streets with gold and no one would take a second look because gold would be as plentiful as copper, wood, and rubber.
It gets worst because, as you may already know, we spent even more than that before we printed out this new money.
I don’t know what is going to happen but I did learn one thing about all of this ad that there are 2 economic theories at play here. One is Keynesian economics and the other is the Austrian School of Economics. I am definaitly going to read the Astrian version to see what I am missing. Let you know what I find when I do.
(ohhh yeah even in parts this car is sweet!)
(thank you motortrend!!!)
Boy, I am sure glad I decided to go and start my own business, cause maybe, just maybe somewhere down the road I can have one of these in my garage. I plan to only have 5 cars/trucks in my personal line up and this car totally replaced the Infiniti G37 (and believe me it still is a close call). What are the 5 cars you ask?
Why limit myself to 5? Because I just didn’t want to go crazy with cars. I already go crazy with sneakers and that is expensive enough. Between sneakers, trains and technology I think I have enough hobbies.
Why the shift to a Camaro over the Infiniti G37? Continue reading

Thinking of making this one of the weekly things I will post on the site. It just sort of interesting who Solange follows or MC Hammer or the NY Times. Then again, maybe i will leave this for my other blog… nahhhh I think i will post here about Twitter every Thursday… Thursday Twitter Follows… why not?
And yes I am totally behind in my posting on tech and fashion. Seen allot of stuff going on and seen allot of stuff on sale too that I am sure the grown and sexy in all of us would like to see. And no I most certainly did not forget about my fashion watch person of the month Solange who I think is taking the model fashionista approach to startdom… and it may very well work.
I finished the review of Coffy, now I just have to write it out. Watching Wanted in a few hours (bought from iTunes), seen some fabulous architecture pictures that I just have to share, and a few official business/profesionalism rants as well as reflecting what’s going on oilitically (because the grown and sexy do not ignore our responsibility to rien in these politiains when they need to be riened in).
Also reviewing my Dell Mini and AT&T Tilt phone (extensive review because I had it for almost 8 months now), a few of these social websites like Plurk, Friendfeed, Cooliris, and yes, Twitter as well as reviewing some cool blogs like Tech Crunch and Joe User (a blog community… why don’t more blog services actually try to make a blog community instead of just a bunch of stand along blogs hosted on one server… yes I am pointing at YOU Google Blogger).
By the way, Firefox is the joint! I hope you guys have it (I am sure most of you do). But, do you have the coolest extentions? I bet you don’t.
Other stuff I will be reviewing:
Anyway, don’t expect any posts this week. I am working on the site design and post schedules so you can either come everyday or come on the days you want to see certain things… like Thursday Twitter Follows, Wednesday’s The Watch Watch, Fashion Friday, Travel Tuesday, and Sleepy Sunday’s… but even if you come on those days, I am sure you will want to see any tech posts (everyday), men and women shoes (everyday) gossip (everyday), events (everyday), cars (everyday) and other fascinating items across the web.
And those old skool music videos lol
I have other stuff coming down the pike for the grown and sexy so stay tuned. Its gonna be real fun.
